This story begins a lot like other second chance stories. It’s with deep gratitude and adoring love for each other that Veronique and Gerard found their second chance in each other. The same gratitude extends to other facets of their lives too, whether at work or in other relationships. After a brief exchange with the couple, their officiant quickly learned that they came together not as broken halves looking to be made whole, but as two complete people who complimented each other in the best ways possible.
Veronique and Gerard’s microwedding featured a romantic, all-acoustic playlist (give it a listen!), livestream, beautiful vows, celebratory toast, and a sparkler send-off. Gerard was in for a last-minute surprise with a visit from his family who flew in from California to celebrate.
If we’ve learned anything from 2020, the year that totally sucked, it’s that sometimes love has a way of sneaking in through the back door when you’re busy making other plans. So, if you’re still on the fence about giving marriage another shot, take your time and trust your gut. Veronique, Gerard, and their newly blended family are happy they did.
